Copy your Inductel "en" dictionary from the "MailMacSrc" folder to the "Spelling" folder.  Location of the MailMacSrc folder is:   Macintosh HD\Users\Shared\Inductel\KAS\spellers\MailMacSrc.

The "Spelling" folder is found at: Macintosh HD\Users\username\Library\ Spelling.

If you don't see the "Spelling" folder  then see the Footnotes at the bottom of this page. If you don't have a "Spelling" folder, also see the Footnotes*.

After copying the "en" file to the "Spelling" folder, restart your computer.  After the restart, open a Pages document, and run a spell check on some test words.

*FOOTNOTES

If you don't see the "Spelling" folder, you will have to locate it.  If your Mac is running Mac OS X Lion, then you will have to make the “Library” folder visible in order to see the “Spelling” folder.  Here’s how.

Method 1

a.  In the Go Menu, choose Go > Go To Folder.
b.  In the Go To Folder dialog, type ~/Library
c.  Click Go.

Once the "Library" folder is visible you may see the "Spelling" folder.  Note the location of the "Library" folder, Macintosh HD\Users\username\Library.

Method 2

Hold down the Alt (Option) key when using the Go menu. The user Library folder is listed below the current users home directory

Method 3

The following method makes the user library folder permanently visible. Note: Inductel recommends that only advanced users use this method.
1. Launch Terminal from Mac HD > Applications > Utilities.
2. From within Terminal type the following command and press Return:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
3. Enter system administrator password if prompted and press Return:

Note: The System administrator password is not visible as you type it.

------------------- Additional information -------------------

If your "Library" folder doesn't contain a "Spelling" folder, then have Pages create one. To do that, run a spell check in Pages and add a “misspelled” word to its dictionary. That will create your "Spelling" folder.

If you already have an "en" file in your "Spelling" folder, you may want to relocate it now.  The "Spelling" folder you need is located at Macintosh HD\Users\username\Library\Spelling.   The "Spelling" folder located at Macintosh HD\Library\Spelling will not work with this application.
