IN MICROSOFT PUBLISHER 2013

 

You may want to read these instructions as you activate your Inductel spell checker custom dictionary in your word processing program.  To facilitate reading, you may temporarily position this window on one half of your desktop, leaving the other half clear for your word processing program or other items.  

  

 

  

SPELL CHECKER ACTIVATION INSTRUCTIONS

 

As shown here, run Microsoft Publisher 2013 and open a document that you wish to spell check.

  

Click on the File tab.  Then click on Options.

  

    

In Publisher Options, click on "Proofing."

  

  

In "Proofing", un-check "Suggest from main dictionary only." Then click on the "Custom Dictionaries" button.

  

 

 

In Custom Dictionaries, click on the "Add" button.

  

 

  

In "Add Custom Dictionary," copy and paste the following path into the "File name" box:

C:\ProgramData\Inductel\KAS\spellers\Word2007\

Then hit the "Open" button.   

  

 

 

That will open the Inductel "Word2007" folder.  Select the Inductel custom dictionary, and click on "Open."  That custom dictionary is compatible with Word 2013. 

  

 

  

The Inductel dictionary will either be named "Med2007.dic" or "Combo2007.dic" depending on which Inductel product you have.  

  

Next, make sure The Inductel custom dictionary is check marked.  Make sure the Dictionary language is "All Languages."  Now click on the OK button, and return to your document.

 

 

 

Verify that your new speller is working. Key in some test words.

  

Medical speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled.

  

Legal speller key in: ab initio, judicata, legitimum, respondere. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled.

  

Sci & Tech speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled.

  

Combination speller key in: abrachia, Celebrex, and sternocleidomastoid. If your new speller is working it will pass those words as being correctly spelled.
