The Edit menu allows access to the Copy function. Using the Copy function with a paste function you may transfer text from your dictionary to other applications such a document in a word processing program.
To copy and paste, highlight the desired text in a definition and click on Copy (or use ctrl + C). Go to your other program, click the cursor on the desired location, and click on the Paste command (ctrl + V) in that program. That action will place the dictionary text in your other program.
