SEARCHING MULTIPLE DICTIONARIES

The purpose of the Scan button is to scan multiple dictionaries for a word if the word is not found in the current dictionary. If your lookup does not find a word in the current dictionary, click on the Scan button.  If it finds your word, it will give you the definition of the word and tell you which dictionary it found the word in.  

Please note, If you have a single dictionary product, for example the medical dictionary, the Scan function will not be available. However, if you have multi-dictionary product such as the Inductel MicroLibrary, or the Scientific and Technical Dictionaries, the Scan function may be used.
